I Am A Farmer, A Father, A Businessman,
And A Proud American. I Learned From My Own Father
That A Bountiful Harvest In Late-August Takes
Commitment Well Before May.
Success Takes Year-Round Leadership,
Hard Work, And Service To A Cause
Greater Than Oneself.
My Story Is The Story Of Yuba City.
It Is The Story Of America At Its Best. My Father Came To Yuba City In 1976.
Yuba City deserves a safe and vibrant riverfront park system and all of our neighbors, whether
housed or homeless, must obey the law. But the status quo has gotten us nowhere and now is
not the time to bury our heads in the sand. Now is the time for bold leadership.
Our community is getting older and despite improved lifespans, our support services haven't
kept pace. The sad fact is our seniors are the most vulnerable members of our community. As
the technology gap widens, often our elderly face fraud and attack at a level never before experi-
enced by any other generation.
The Agriculture industry is vital to our economy. Our farmers not only feed the nation, but we
feed the world and Sukh is very proud to be a member of this tradition. As a farmer, Sukh knows
first-hand that responsible land stewardship is vital to one of the most important industries for
Yuba City and its governmental partners of Live Oak and broader Sutter County.
"I am proud to serve with Sukh on the Board of the
YSC United Way. Under Sukh's leadership as
President, the United Way continues to grow and
adapt to the needs of our community, improving
the lives of thousands of residents of Yuba City
each month. Sukh has committed himself to the
issues that matter most to us...education, senior
care, and the fight against our homelessness cri-
sis. Thank you for your continued service to Yuba
City, Sukh!”
“It is my honor and pleasure to promote the candi-
dacy of Sukh Sidhu in his campaign for Yuba City
City Council. Sukh has demonstrated his strong
stewardship as multi-year president of the Yuba-
Sutter-Colusa United Way, resulting in record-
breaking fundraising events. Sukh is also a mem-
ber of the Sutter County Museum Association,
where we work together to raise awareness of
the regions's diverse cultures. Sukh is a hard
worker, always working towards making our com-
munity a better place in which to live.”
